War for Marinor's Edge begins

King Thenos of House Siorain demanded that Pelegorian ships crossing Marinor’s Edge recognize Thalassan’s primacy at sea: that they pay a toll, dip their flags, and acknowledge Thalassan as the senior maritime power. Pelegor refused and in response, Thenos led his nation into a war that would span three decades and see the end of the reign of House Siorain.
